Book Reviews
Let me start with one note… I read this book in two day. Two days. Two days of wishing the bus ride was longer so I could keep reading, two days of reading before falling asleep (which I usually don’t do anymore), two days of a great read. And away we go…
You know her from Into the Woods, Pitch Perfect and Trolls. Maybe you even remember she was in Twilight (I do). Apparently she also wrote a book!
I know it has been awhile - almost 2 weeks to be exact. But, when I went to the library (not at lunch this time – big change for me!) when I was almost done with my last read, I picked up not 1, but 2 books, and they were meant to be read and talked about together. So here you go – a two for one post.
An autobiography that ties almost every story back to food? Check. A book that has recipes about these experiences at the end of every section? Check. Another random find at the library? Check. A book for you to read? Check.
I didn’t know what to expect for this one. I picked it up at the library’s new bookshelf, drawn to the colorful cover and the description in the flap (I know, something new for me). Did I see this ending coming? Nope. I usually can guess, which means this was a well written novel.
